Hollywood Foreign Press Association has been a supporter of PSE School of Media since 2015 with $27,000 worth of grants.
Their donations enabled the acquisition of audio, photo and video equipment for the School of Media studio.
It also supported the realization of a student directed short movie – the third year project is part of the curriculum and involved 25 students working in Sihanoukville. 250 km away from PSE center.
Created a few years ago, the school trains about 50 students per year.
It was started to meet the needs for trained video or audio technicians needed by foreign movie studios. A few alumni of PSE were hired to work on Angelina Jolie’s film “First they killed my father”.
